Matt Gohn is a Baltimore native currently living in Washington, D.C. In 2012, he graduated from American University with a Bachelors in Film & Media Arts and a Minor in Marketing. He is currently enrolled in the Masters program for Strategic Communication.
While going to school he currently works full-time at the Malsi Doyle & Michael Forman Theater at AUSOC as Theater & Video Services Manager. His duties involve technical maintenance, staffing, and event management. In the past he's done video work for several D.C. sports teams including D.C. United, Capitals, Wizards, and Mystics. He also occasionally shoots MMA with Hightlight Fights.
Matt keeps active outside of work by writing about his various pop culture passions for Stereo Champions. These include film, television, and video games. He's been writing for Stereo Champions since summer of 2015.
He also is currently working with the Silver Lake Brewing Project, aiding in the video marketing of the up-and-coming craft brewery. Matt's passion for craft beer and his dedication to digital media and strategic communication have made him eager to find a job working in the craft alcohol industry upon his graduation in 2017.
